With the 2020-2021 school year begins my 16th year of teaching, my 13th at THS. I taught fourth grade before transitioning to high school math here in Templeton. Why? I was eager to help students, and what subject traditionally was the most challenging for them? Math. I hoped (and still do) that the strategies I implement, the time I spend, and the genuine care that I provide creates a supportive environment to learn.
In the past here at THS I have taught Algebra 1B, Algebra 1, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
This year I'm teaching one Algebra 1 class and two Applied Geometries. I'm also teaching AP and non-AP statistics; I have an especially voracious appetite for the study of statistics and I look forward to sharing my admiration for this subject with you.
